Beautiful body; Beautiful Skin. The ideal workouts for a radiant glow

Finding yourself a regular workout routine isn't just about toning those muscles or losing a few inches - it's also one of the best things you can do for your skin! Try one of these three workout styles to see a brighter, clearer complexion.

1. Yoga

We all love the look of a yoga toned body, but the benefits of this low impact workout go way beyond having a nice butt! The measured breathing and meditation elements of yoga practices have been shown to lower stress and anxiety, two big factors in your body that can cause hormonal havoc, leading to or enhancing aggravated skin conditions such as acne. Take time to embrace this slow but deep burn and enjoy the benefits beyond beautiful skin - a healthier mind as well!

2. Boxing

Maybe the slow pace of yoga isn't your thing - swing (literally!) instead in the opposite direction and enjoy the heart pumping goodness of a boxing class. High impact sports encourage blood flow around your body, giving your skin a fresh glow and stimulating and lymphatic drainage system to help better detoxify the body. Beat that stress in the most satisfying way possible by practicing your left hook in a safe, positive environment and enjoy the fat burning properties of this cardio workout.

3. Walking or hiking

Running isn't for everyone, but thankfully there are still so many benefits to be had when you slow your pace down. Sustained walking for 40 minutes or more 3 times a week can improve heart health, reduce body fat, and help with anxiety and depression. Push the pace up a notch and work up a sweat to encourage the body to dish up white blood cells, which help heal inflammation and minor healing, which is a great turnaround for a complexion that is feeling a little lacklustre. Enjoy the freedom and all the feel-good hormones when you choose a beautiful walking path or hiking trail, and breathe deep in the fresh air.
