“I opened Me Skin and Body in 1996 after 14 years in the advertising industry. During my time in the corporate world, I loved skincare and realized that the need to look after my skin was the single most effective way that I was going to fight the skin ageing process ahead of me. I was an avid salon goer and a skincare ‘junkie’ to say the least. After deciding to leave the advertising industry (due to a small mid life crisis), the need to open up what I believed to be a great service based and results driven salon was overwhelming. What happened since then is history. I am proud of my business, my employees and the wonderful difference we’ve made to skins over the last 12 years. Here’s how we work”

At Me Skin and Body, we aim to make your visit experience, special in every way. Every treatment listed on our Treatment Menu has been carefully put together, tested and retested until we're satisfied our clients will be delighted with the results, with their visit experience to be beyond their expectations... that little bit extra. You know, those little extra things that make all the difference...

Here are examples of what set us apart from the rest

• You not only book a treatment, you book your therapist's time for the entire duration of your treatment. Your therapist is solely dedicated to you. So for example, when you're mask is drying, the steamer is steaming or the eyelash tint is curing, your hands, feet or scalp will be massaged. Not a minute is wasted!
• We value your time so it is our policy to run to time. We do not pack our appointment books but rather allow a generous allocation of time so that your visit is not rushed, allowing ample time for changing and consultation.
• We have a client waiting room, somewhere comfortable for you to relax in with a steaming cup of plunger coffee or your favorite herbal tea with the latest magazines and relaxing piped music. Feel free to arrive early to your appointment to unwind or stay after to allow your toes to dry after our very special marine pedicure!
• Hygiene and cleanliness is our priority. Linen is changed with every client and if it’s disposable, we use it!
• We use the best quality available products and utensils in every single one of our treatments. We don't cut corners and we certainly do not recycle anything, least of all, wax. The best, most gentle wax is used and then disposed of immediately.
• Only friendly, knowledgeable and service orientated staff are employed at meskinandbody. Every staff member is trained to provide service well beyond your expectations.
